JOB DESCRIPTION
MECHANICAL ENGINEER
· Designs, develops, modifies and tests new and current products
· Generates designs with layouts, assembly drawings, part specifications, test procedures, manuals and bill of materials.
· Documents and executes ECR, ECO, and ECN’S..
· Insures product assemblies meet customer promise dates.
· Assists sales in answering customer related issues.
· Assists production in producing product while in production.
· Capable of completing production/manufacturing job functions when required and understanding all procedures and processes involved in the manufacturing process.
· Works with vendors when developing new or redesigning current products.
· Provides field service when needed.
Job Requirements
· Position requires bachelors degree in mechanical engineering or similar engineering field and/or practical experience.
· Requires good communication and computer skills experience in SolidWorks® is helpful.
· Some experience in liquid flow dynamics a plus.
