As of January 1st, 2018, Flow MD is selling the 4th Generation Prover.
FMD raised the bar in proving technology with the introduction of the 4th Generation Prover at ISHM last May.
Some of the key improvements are shown below:
- Decreased overall weight and redesigned piston and poppet assembly allows for minimal flow disturbance
- Increased run-up time provides better accuracy for proving manufactured pulse meters
- All stainless-steel drive system
- 4th Gen PIM with upgraded features
Although FMD's small volume Prover has undergone a complete re-design, rest assured that the repeatability and uncertainty FMD has built its reputation on has not been compromised.
The 4th Generation Provers provide excellent repeatability (ISO17025 Lab exceed 0.02%) and uncertainty typically exceeds 0.005% depending on the Prover model number.
All Prover models are now available with the 4th Generation technology ensuring better proving quality while still exceeding the API proving uncertainty requirements.
