Flow MD attended the 2018 FPSO World Congress in Singapore providing a technical presentation on FMD Provers titled: FPSO & Offshore Measure
ment Technology Update.
Additionally, FMD participated as a host sponsor for the Congress Round Table Technical Discussion Segment. The Round Table event featured 3 topic tracks:
- Driving Industry and Stakeholders Profitability in a Recovering Market
- Enabling Project Success by Streamlining Commercial Strategies
- Applying Practical Solutions to Enhance FPSO Execution and Operations
The Round Table sessions featured 45 presentation sessions from numerous groups that included End Users, Financial Institutions, Engineering Firms, FPSO Service Providers, Equipment Manufacturers, and others.
Special thanks to our Brazil rep-partner Metroval, Paolo Fiorletta and Daniel Menghi for their assistance and participation in the Congress.
FPSO 2018 provided a great line up of industry speakers including opening remarks from Dave Hartell of Premier Oil and Havard Devold of ABB. Both speakers provided great insights to the ongoing recovery trends and specific projects that are occurring in the global FPSO industry.
The Congress tone was very positive and focused on new technology developments that can be utilized to optimize FPSO performance, streamline FPSO operations, and maximize FPSO ROI.
Congratulations to the 2018 FPSO event team for providing an excellent venue and agenda that promoted attendee engagement and idea sharing.
